Last week, I featured the first of the Wildflowers of Maroon Lake posts. Today, a few more interesting wildflowers from the Maroon Bells area, all of them white. I still haven’t had the time to sit down and identify them, so if you know the identity of any of them, I’d appreciate your input!
Photos #2 and #3 are the same species, and all the rest are different wildflowers. While in the Maroon Bell area, there was no lack of water … we got showers every day. But that was fine with us; we are in a drought at home (Missouri) and the cooler and wetter climate was a welcomed relief! And the area’s wildflowers showed the effects of the great conditions on all the wildflowers.
