One morning this past week, on my way to launch the kayak, I encountered a very interesting sunrise. As I drove towards my destination, the sunrise just got better and better. I did not have my wide angle lens with me, but did have my trusty point-and-shoot digital camera (I try to carry this 10 mp camera with me whenever I go anywhere). I ended up stopping on the roadway (in a rural area) 4 times before reaching the Conservation Area. Here are a few images I collected along the way.
This first image was taken not far from my house. A grain silo stands in the distance:
The next image was taken less than a mile from my destination, where I launch the kayak. Not far from the water, a layer of low-hanging fog was present, which adds character to this image. This is a field, next to the road, with a barn and outbuildings:
