A Visit with Jack Frost, Part 2

In Part 2 of my “Visit with Jack Frost” series, I am featuring some of the prairie plants with seedheads or berries that I captured with frost. This first image is a seedhead of the very invasive and undesired Sumac. Sumac can be extremely photogenic, especially the seedheads or the fall foliage, but it tends to overrun everything else in the praire:

And one beautiful Bittersweet seedhead, sans frost (as you can see it was already in the early morning sun):
