Brown Thrasher (Re-post)

While kayaking yesterday, I had an adult Brown Thrasher (Toxostoma rufum) fly into a tree above the kayak. Before he left me, I managed to grab a few images:

This bird did not sing for me today, but their song is very similar to the Northern Mockingbird … they have a repertoire of several different “tunes” that are run together. Even though it didn’t sing for me, it is still a beauty!
