No frills or long stories for today’s post. Just a photo, taken from my kayak, a couple of years ago at a local, Missouri Conservation Area. This image shows a trio of Wood Ducks (Aix sponsa) flying overhead, two males (drakes) and one hen (female). The Wood Duck is one of our most colorful ducks and it’s always a pleasure to photograph!
