Today’s post includes some more images made along our ride in the snowcoach, from Mammoth Hot Springs to Old Faithful, during the winter of 2011. These images were made near/along the Firehole River, as we neared the Old Faithful area. This area has a lot of thermal pools and geysers in the area and thus offers a wonderful, wintery view of steam-engulfed landscapes.
As awesome as Yellowstone is in the summer, winter is one of the best times to visit … if you can withstand the cold and harsh conditions!
