Spring Fever!

Well, the last 2 days of spring was nice! Now it’s back to winter for 3-4 days, including a chance of snow … as I slip deeper into the burning sensations of spring fever, I pulled today’s images from the vault … during a true spring/summer season! Buds are beginning to appear on a lot of my shrubs and trees right now. Crocus are now poking through the grass and fallen leaves … no buds yet, but another teasing moment from Mother Nature! Oh well, let’s enjoy what spring and summer will actually look like … if they actually get here!

These images are one of my favorite prairie wildflowers, the Spiderwort, captured at a local prairie just 20 minutes from my house:

You get the idea. Now let’s bring on spring! Oh, and I hope my fever isn’t contagious to you … if it is, take 2 aspirin and [don’t] call me in the morning! :o)
