Are Your Ducks All in Order?

I saw my first-of-year Wood Ducks in the area a couple of days ago, which prompted this post. Nesting should commence pretty soon. Wood ducks normally have two clutches every year in our area. I always look forward to being in a kayak and seeing the young family as mom acquaints them to their new world.
