On my recent trip to Prairie State Park in southwest Missouri, I found some Bird’s-foot Violets (Viola pedata) still blooming, so I made some images of the leaves of this plant, where the common name originated. You might remember my original post on these beauties, about 4 weeks ago (“A Little Birdie Told Me”), where I discovered the identity of these lovely flowers.
