While in Glacier NP, one morning I decided to hike the Beaver Pond trail, near St. Mary Lake. The day before, I had talked to one of the Park Rangers about wildflower locations and he recommend that I hike the Beaver Pond trail, as he had recently hiked it and found lots of wildflowers in bloom on the several meadows that this trail traverses. I was not disappointed! Here is one of my favorite images from the largest meadow:

What a lovely hike … and in the background (of the first image) is one of the mountain peaks that sit behind St. Mary Lake.

- ISO 800 (high ISO used since I had no tripod with me on the hike)
