Fun Friday: Surrounded by Pink

Today’s “Fun Friday” post was one that caught my eye while photographing this past week in the local Missouri woodland. A single Virginia Bluebell bloom was surrounded by pink buds:

Today, I’m setting up my booth for the 2016 Stillwater Arts Festival, in downtown Stillwater, Oklahoma. If you live or will be in the area on Saturday or Sunday, stop by and say “Hi”. Due to the increased activities, I will not be publishing a new blog post for a few days (I’m planning on conducting a 2-day wildflower photography workshop at Prairie State Park on the way home).

Photographic Equipment Used:

  • Canon 5D Mark 3 body
  • Canon EF 180mm, f/3.5 macro lens
  • Bogen 3221 tripod and ballhead
  • ISO 800
  • Aperture f/3.5
  • Shutter 1/250 sec
