Rush Hour!

Today’s post comes from a photo trip I made to Florida in 2014. As I work on planning out my 2018 return trip, I’ll share a few of my favorite encounters from this past visit.

In today’s post, I found a remarkable water pool in Myakka River State Park, where both the Black Vultures and Alligators were seemingly in a “face-off” along the bank:

So much for getting away from the typical, everyday traffic jam!  :o)

  • Canon 7D body
  • Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-f/5.6 IS lens
  • Handheld, with IS “On”
  • ISO 500
  • Aperture f/5.6
  • Shutter 1/500 sec.
