In Part 2 of my “A Chilling Encounter” series, I’m highlighting another image I captured on New Year’s Day of the year’s first Super Moon. In this post, I feature a merged image of a couple of images I captured as the moon rose over Cornerstone Community Church (my church home) in Harrisonville, Missouri. With the moon so bright and all the outside lights of the church, merging was necessary (since no Neutral Density filter with me) so I could use a detailed image of the moon. Would rather have captured the image on it’s own accord, but sometimes you just have to improvise:
In my next post, I conclude this series with some images I captured over the grain silo that stands in a farm field near my rural Missouri home. And if you missed Part 1, here is a link to that post: https://tinyurl.com/ydyklzdh
