I’m now back home after a week’s trip to Nebraska and then to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Quite a travel experience … I-29 roads are flooded in some areas, requiring detours, but the trip was otherwise good. I was able to spend some times at the falls in Sioux Falls … I’ll be sharing those images later.
Today’s post features the Black-throated Blue Warbler, which was a new bird for me. Such a colorful warbler! This warbler species was seen quite frequently while I navigated the boardwalk at Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, located in northern Ohio. Here are a few of my favorite Black-throated Blue Warbler images:
Coming up … more colorful warblers from Magee Marsh!

- Handheld, with IS “On”
- ISO 1000 and ISO 1600
