Great Kiskadee

Today’s post features another previously-unpublished image that I captured in 2012, in the Rio Grande River Valley of south Texas. The Great Kiskadee is a quite large flycatcher that is common in the southern Rio Grande River Valley, and extending down into Mexico. During this trip, this was a “life” bird for me. Here is one of my favorite images of the Great Kiskadee:
