Your January Eye Test

Today’s post features an image I captured a few years ago, as I photographed Bald Eagles along the Chilkat River in Alaska, during their late season gathering for a late salmon run in the river.

When editing this image, I wondered exactly how many eagles were in this photograph, so I took the time to move slowly around the image and count them.  I thought this “eye test” would be a good way to start off the New Year!  Be sure to count the ones in the trees, and the many that are on the ground in the background! (Hint: if possible, enlarge the sections of this image to see more eagles!)  Note: my count is shown below the photograph.

My “eye test” gave me a result of “45” … hopefully, that’s not too far off from the actual number! What did you come up with?
