Fun Friday: Baja Hillbillies?

Today’s post comes from my last trip to Baja (Mexico) for some interesting nature photo ops there.  Flying in to Cabo San Lucas, I met up with some friends as we embarked on a 10-day photo tour of the Baja Peninsula. Our first “encounter” was just outside of Cabo, where our van caught up with this seemingly “Beverly Hillbilly” scene … the only thing missing was Granny in her rocking chair!  Wait, thee is a red chair there … did Granny fall off, along the way?

Actually, our van driver explained that this was a roving, housewares salesman that went from small town to town with his goods for sale:

This image was captured with my Pentax underwater camera, the only camera readily available to me at the time.
