What Does Your Calendar Say?

… Mine says it is the month of the Eagles!

Well, hopefully I’m back on the computer for a while! Last week was a week I’d like to forget … lost my internet and tv for several days … my, how we forget how it is without our modern conveniences!

Today’s post features one of my favorite winter photography subjects … the Bald Eagle. These images were captured a few years ago on the Mississippi river, near Davenport, Iowa:

But now that I’m at the Lake of the Ozarks, another wintering eagle hot spot, I’m hoping to grab some eagle images soon. With cold weather moving in the area soon, I’m just waiting for the right conditions!

I’ve also been informed of at least two bald eagle nests nearby. I’m hoping they are active again this year and that I can find them!
