Jet Lag?

Today’s post features an image I captured on Mount Evans (Colorado) during my last visit there, as I photographed the Perseides meteor shower over the mountains.

Shortly after setting up for the night shoot, I got the camera rolling and captured this transition from day to night, with both the setting sun and some stars in the sky at the same time:

Transition from day to night on Mount Evans

Unfortunately, not many meteors were captured on this trip, due to clouds moving in and lots of rain!
