“Where’s Air Traffic Control When You Need Them?”

 During my recent kayak outings, I’ve noticed that the male Red-winged Blackbirds (Agelaius phoeniceus) have really been swarming, usually in large groups. And a few are starting to display, although I’ve not had them perch close enough for good photographs yet. But I’m sure that will change very soon. Here are a couple of images, shot from the kayak, showing their activity in my area:
