During my last few kayak outings, the Prothonotary Warblers (Protonotaria citrea) have been very busy. So far, I have only seen the males. But they have been busy setting up territories and fighting off other males who happen into their space. I really love these colorful little harbingers of spring, with their cheerful songs and colorful displays!
