White Beauty … on the Prairie

Today’s post features an Ox-eyed Daisy (Chrysanthemum leucanthemum) found on the prairies of Prairie State Park (southwest Missouri) during my recent visit there:

This wildflower is always such a joy to see. It grows up to 3-feet tall and can have spectacular summer displays on the open prairie!
