A Return Visit With My Little Friends

Fun Friday: Saber-toothed Ground Squirrel
This little guy, a Columbian Ground Squirrel (Urocitellus columbianus), looked up at me while snacking on a wildflower plant. In his mouth is a Spring Beauty wildflower, both stalk and bloom. The blades of the plant look like giant, green teeth!
