Yesterday’s post featured a trio of Kittiwakes on Gull Island, off the coast of Homer, Alaska. Today’s post features another bird I found there, the Pigeon Guillemot (Cepphus columba). This pair was sitting on some rocks on the edge of Gull Island. You can definitely see the resemblanc to our common pigeon:
