I recently had a comment from someone on Twitter about seeing Trumpeter Swans a few years ago, in snowy/icy conditions. That got me to thinking … I was able to capture some pretty nice Trumpeter Swan images 2 years ago, when I was in Haines, Alaska shooting bald eagles along the Chilkat River. So, I dug these up from my archives (prior to nature blog) to share today. So enjoy not only the magnificent birds, but the wonderful Alaskan landscape:
