Active Flickers

While I was kayaking yesterday, one of the things that really caught my attention was the amazing woodpecker activity, particularly the Northern Flicker (Colaptes auratus). They seemed to be everywhere, often displaying with their calls or by ruffling their tail feathers. Here are a few images I captured:

The Norther Flickers are beautiful birds, noisy, and fun to photograph.  :o)
