Today’s post features a couple of (previously unpublished) images from Alaska’s Inside Passage, during one of my several Alaska photo trips on a 50-foot boat in the beautiful Inside Passage.
Alaska is so very unique … so much, that you can never plan on what you will see! I take that back … you can usually plan on encountering some rather dramatic conditions in Alaska!
On a trip in 2011, these two images were captured about 40 minutes apart. These images really bring back memories!

- Handheld on boat, with IS “On”
- ISO 500
- Aperture f/16 (top image) and f/22 (bottom image)
- Shutter Speed 1/500 sec. (top image) and 1/200 sec. (bottom image)
