Fun Friday: Can U C Me Now?

The image from today’s post comes from a visit I had a few years ago to the Venice bird rookery, in Venice, Florida. As you can see, many birds call this rookery home, overnight:

Many different species in this single image … primarily, White Ibis are present, but you can also see Great Blue Herons, a Tri-colored Heron, Glossy Ibis, Great Egrets, and a few unrecognizable species in the dark shadows.

Photographic Equipment Used:

  • Canon 1D Mark 3 body
  • Canon 100-400mm f/4.5 – f/5.6 IS lens, at 100 mm
  • Handheld, with IS “On” + flash used
  • ISO 500
  • Aperture f/6.3
  • Shutter Speed 1/300 sec.
