Today’s post features some morning landscape photos I captured in Glacier National Park (Montana) a few years ago. Made me “homesick” for the mountains as I prepared this blog post!
In early morning, at high altitude on the Going-to-the-Sun Road, the landscape can often be quite dramatic:
Once the sun is up and the clouds dissipate, the view can be equally awesome:
I’m hoping to get another trip there within the next couple of years!

- Canon 28-135mm, IS lens, at 105 mm to 122 mm
- Handheld, with IS “On”
- ISO 200 and ISO 400
- Aperture f/16 and f/22
- Shutter Speed 1/30 sec. to 1/60 sec.
