Fun Friday: Surprise!

Today’s post features one of my tiny friends that I often see when photographing on some of Missouri’s prairies … the Jumping Spider. While photographing a clump of wildflowers that were located along the edge of some woods, I caught this little guy as he hunkered down between some leaves, intently watching me:

  • Canon 180mm, f/3.5 macro lens + Canon 1.4x TC
  • Bogen 3221 tripod and ballhead
  • ISO 500
  • Aperture f/6.3
  • Shutter 1/800 sec.
