Red-winged Blackbird

One of my recent FOY (First of Year) birds seen from the kayak include the female Red-winged Blackbird (Agelaius phoeniceus). The males have been around for quite a while, even feeding from my front porch birdfeeders, but the females have been scarce. And this was the only female I saw the other day during my 3-hour kayak outing. But I’m sure more will find there way in very soon!
