Last week, I was able to photograph some Barn Swallows (Hirundo rustica) at the home of some birder friends of mine, Pete and Ginny. They have a small barn with a couple of horses, and tons of Barn Swallows! There were several active nests, with several nests already fledging little ones and started on a second brood.
