Some images caught from the kayak a few years ago, at one of my favorite local kayak locations:
Red-headed Woodpeckers (Melanerpes erythrocephalus) are one of my favorite local birds to find. When captured in good lighting, they are so lovely. These images are more examples of being able to get close to wildlife in a kayak, sitting low in the water.
