A Common Visitor

Today’s post features a very common visitor to my yard, seemingly no matter where I live! This image is a previously unpublished image of a Northern Flicker, yellow-shafted group, male sitting in a weeping, flowering cherry tree that was in my Drexel, Missouri front yard:

  • Canon 100-400mm f/4.5 – f/5.6 IS lens
  • Handheld, with IS “On”
  • ISO 1600
  • Aperture f/5.6
  • Shutter Speed 1/1250 sec.
