Time again for another “Fun Friday” post, just a simple but fun photo! Today’s photo is a rather large bullfrog (Rana catesbeiana) that I found some time ago when driving around Squaw Creek NWR, located in northwest Missouri. I was on a 10-mile auto tour, gravel road and the frog was right in the middle of the road, seemingly playing “chicken” with me. Since he was being so cooperative, I stopped the car, got out with my camera, and laid down on the gravel road to get a photo of him, at his level. After making this image, I had to walk right up to him, to get him to move out of the road!
