Today’s post features one of my favorite meteor shower images that I’ve been able to capture … with the Perseids only a couple of weeks away, I’m busy getting things planned out and ready for this year’s shower.
In this image, a very bright Perseids meteor is streaking over the Goliath Wilderness Area of Mount Evans (Colorado). This image was captured a few miles up the Mount Evans Highway during the 2017 Perseids meteor shower. If you look closely, you may be able to see a second, very faint meteor that is below the bright meteor:
I’m busy planning my meteor shoot this year, but you can expect to see some meteor images as they once again fly over some wonderful landscape … barring bad weather!
