Can You Feel it in the Air?

Today’s post features 3 images I captured along a creek in the Amarugia Highlands Conservation Area (Missouri) a few years ago. In spring, I love to hike and kayak rural creeks and streams. Often, warblers that migrate into the area are so cheerful.  Makes me have “cabin fever” to go back and experience these outings via the images! Today’s images were captured of several male Prothonotary Warblers that I captured during one of these trips:

  • Canon 1D Mark 2 body
  • Canon 500mm, f/4 IS lens
  • Bogen 3221 Tripod, with Wemberly gimbal head
  • ISO 400 and ISO 800
  • Aperture f/5.6
  • Shutter Speed 1/200 sec. and 1/250 sec.
