Today’s post features a previously unpublished image captured a few years ago along the Mississippi River near Iowa’s Quad Cities. With bitterly cold temperatures forecast, the early morning saw a lot of steam rising off the river … with an occasional Bald Eagle looking for a fish breakfast:
