Today I’m featuring one of Hallo Bay’s Brown Bears (Ursus arctos), with some “catches-of-the day”. When I was there in early September, there were both pink salmon and silver salmon moving into the creek, so the bears had a delightful choice for dinner! All of the salmon in these images are pinkies (sometimes also called “humpies” due to the hump on the back that the males often develop):
