Fun Friday: A Sign of Spring

Yesterday afternoon while wandering my rural Missouri land, I captured another sure sign that spring is on the way … the Daffodil:

These daffodils were located at the edge of our woodlands. They were first planted in some of our gardens that are on the property, but the native squirrels were busy “relocating” them after they were planted. But looked nice at the edge of the woods, so they were allowed to remain there :o)

Photographic Equipment Used:

  • Canon 5D Mark 3 body
  • Canon EF 180mm, f/3.5 macro lens
  • Bogen 3221 tripod with ballhead
  • ISO 400
  • Aperture f/3.5 to f/11
  • Shutter 1/250 sec. to 1/2000 sec.
