Today’s Fun Friday post comes from my recent Alaska photo workshop, while we were traveling aboard the Delphinus. At one point, I decided to climb up the stairs to the upstairs “flying” deck. You can have quite an amazing view from this vantage point. While I was sitting there with one of my workshop attendees, discussing our trip, this unidentified bird flew up to the boat, from behind Delphinus. Struggling to catch up to us, he finally reached us and then proceeded to land on one of the Delphinus’ kayaks that are stored on the flying deck. He sat on the kayak, watching us as we watched him! After about 10 minutes, I guess he had reached his destination. So, off he flew. If any of my birding readers knows the identity of this little guy, please let me know:
In Monday’s post, I’ll resume with images made on our workshop, starting with more images from Pack Creek. Besides some brown bear images, there will also be a surprise guest. Til then, have a wonderful weekend!
