… this juvenile Yellow-bellied Marmot (Marmota flaviventris) seems to be gesturing to me! Actually, he is stretching as he warms on a large rock in the Maroon Bells area of Colorado:
The Yellow-bellied Marmot was a “life” mammal for me on this trip to Colorado. Fortunately, I was able to get many images of this amazing little creature … there will be more images featured in upcoming posts.
