During last month’s visit to Minnesota’s North Shore, this little guy followed me around the Grand Marais harbor, looking for a handout:
I can report that he had no luck with me. First, I had no food items with me. But more importantly, even if I had, I would not have fed him. Cute … yes. But feeding wildlife is not a good thing to do. Besides not being on his natural diet, human foods are not good for wildlife.
Photo Equipment Used:
- Canon 7D body
- Canon 180mm macro lens (my wildlife lens was in my backpack, in the car … didn’t expect to see wildlife while photographing the harbor’s lighthouse. Only had macro lens and wide angle lens with me)
- Handheld
- ISO 500 (it was a dreary, misty day)
- Aperture f/3.5
- Shutter speed 1/400 sec.
