These American Goldfinch (Spinus tristis) images were captured immediately after a brief snowfall, a few mornings ago in rural Cass County, Missouri, near my home:
Goldfinches are very common in my area. During the cold, winter months, I have often counted 30+ of these beauties on my front porch, feeding from our bird feeders.
