It’s Not Just For Little Birds!

Today’s post is the first, of many, from the Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, located along Lake Erie in northern Ohio. Magee Marsh is well known for a stopover location for migrating warblers in the spring. These warblers are small, especially in comparison to this bald eagle’s nest that is located at the western entrance to the Magee Marsh boardwalk! Here are a few of my favorite images:

Keeping a close eye on the nest:

In upcoming posts, I will be featuring the subject of this recent photo trip … the migrating warblers of Magee Marsh! I photographed many new, “life” birds at this location and I’m still working on identification of some!
