King of the Mountain

Another mountain favorite of mine is the King’s Crown (Rhodiola integrifolia). Growing only 4-12″ tall, and with flower heads to 1-inch wide, when you find a nice clump of them growing, it can be a wonderful sight! Here are a few of my favorite images:

  • Canon EF180mm, f/3.5 macro lens
  • Bogen 3221 tripod with Graff Studioball SB-QR ballhead
  • ISO 500
  • Aperture f/16
  • Shutter 1/13 sec. to 1/20 sec.
