While driving the National Bison Range road in SW Montana, we came upon a single, bull elk that was grazing in the late afternoon light:

With the show completed, I’m now on my way to western Kansas, hoping to catch some of the migrating Whooping Cranes that are currently moving southward to their winter home along the Gulf Coast.
