Life Under the Sea

Today’s post features a collection of underwater photographs I captured while snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez (Baja, MX) a few years ago. I don’t even have identifications for most of the fish … but I still enjoy pulling these up on my computer and reliving the “Sea of Cortez Experience”!

Not wanting to be overlooked, this seal pup “photo bombed” some of the colorful fish!

  • Pentax Optio W60 Underwater Camera
  • Handheld, underwater
  • ISO 50 – ISO 64 (automatic mode)
  • Aperture f/3.8 – f/5.6 (automatic mode)
  • Shutter Speed 1/80 sec. – 1/240 sec. (automatic mode)
