More Frosty Bluebells

Today I’m featuring some more Virginia Bluebell (Mertensia virginica) wildflowers, captured in frosty conditions this past Monday morning:

Coming up, a few more wildflowers that are currently blooming on Missouri woodlands.

Photographic Equipment Used:

  • Canon 5D Mark 3 body
  • Canon EF 180mm, f/3.5 macro lens
  • Bogen 3221 tripod and ballhead
  • ISO 400
  • Aperture f/8 to f/18 (the two focus-stacked images were all captured at f/3.5)
  • Shutter 1/4 sec. to 1/13 sec.
