More Trout Lilies

During my last outing to a nearby, Missouri woodland, I found many more Trout Lilies, aka Dog-tooth Violets (Erythronium albidum) blooming:

And still hundreds/thousands of leaves poking through the leaf litter, meaning even more to show up!

Photographic Equipment Used:

  • Canon 5D Mark 3 body
  • Canon EF 180mm, f/3.5 macro lens
  • Bogen 3221 tripod, with Giottos ballhead
  • ISO 500
  • Aperture f/3.5
  • Shutter 1/400 sec. to 1/1250 sec. (light was variable as sun moved in/out of clouds)
